Bioenergy Europe is pleased to announce that the European Bioenergy Future (EBF 2022) conference will resume in Brussels, allowing the biomass industry to meet again in person!
This two-day conference is expected to be attended by +150 participants from the bioenergy business sector as well as institutional players.
The European Bioenergy Future 2022 conference is taking place at a very critical moment, when the Renewable Energy Directive and other key legislation part of the Fit for 55 package is being revised. This will largely affect the markets, bringing challenges but also opportunities.
In particular, the EBF aims to link European policies and bioenergy markets, with a focus on how EU legislation will affect biomass supply and carbon capture and storage (BECCS). The event will cover a variety of topics, including: sustainability, REPowerEU, pellets, wood chips, bioenergy carriers and energy-intensive industries.
