The European Technology and Innovation Platform Bioenergy is an industry-led stakeholder platform engaged in the development of sustainable bioenergy and competitive biofuel technologies. One major task of ETIP Bioenergy is to address the technical and economic barriers to the further development and accelerated commercial deployment of bioenergy technologies for the widespread sustainable exploitation of biomass resources.
A series of webinars is being held with the purpose of providing information from industry and academia and to allow the audience to pose their questions to the experts.
Join the webinar of the platform Working Group 2 ”Conversion Processes”. Tony Bridgwater, Aston Ulniversity, will provide a presentation on the basics of pyrolysis technologies such as how the process works, properties of the product, and !imitations of the process. Gerhard Muggen will explain the BTG-BTL technology, possible applications for the resulting pyrolysis oil, and the progress in the industrialisation of the technology.
