Welcome to our web-based breakfast seminar on 24 September about biobased packages and materials, and research to replace fossil-based laminates.
The demand for packaging material that is renewable, recycle and fossil free is on a steady increase. Wood based fibres is perhaps the material that has the highest potential to replace many of the plastic packaging materials found on the market today. Nonetheless, by nature the barrier properties of the wood-based fiber materials against e.g. water, fat and oxygen are not always sufficient, and due to this a barrier material often needs to be added into the final packaging material solution.
Welcome to our web-based breakfast seminar on 24 September where Stora Enso will tell you about their development of biobased packages and materials, and RISE will present ongoing research to replace fossil-based laminates.
