The study assesses the role of renewable methanol in the energy transition. It details the current technology and market status for renewable methanol, It also analyses economics of renewable methanol and the potential for deployment.
Renewable methanol offers unique benefit to the energy transition for the main applications such as feedstock for chemical/petrochemicals sector and some transport sectors.
In this webinar, IRENA and Methanol Institute will present the key findings of the report. The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion with key stakeholders on the challenges and opportunities for further deployment of renewable methanol
