How to Increase Fuel Flexibility While Ensuring Emissions Compliance

SOLVAir® invites you to join a FREE webinar on Flue Gas Cleaning Solutions for Biomass and Cofiring Combustion Processes.

Where & When?
On Zoom at June 22, 15.00- 16.00 CET.

What?
Effective flue gas cleaning is essential for combustion, and critical for facilities using biomass from waste sources as these facilities are subject to the same regulatory standards as waste-to-energy plants.

SOLVAir® Solutions is an efficient, cost-effective sodium bicarbonate-based treatment technology. It is highly reactive and effectively neutralizes acid gases over a wide temperature range and can rapidly respond to sudden peaks in emissions.

This gives operators the flexibility to select a mix of combustion fuels for improved energy efficiency while meeting the most stringent emission limits for a range of pollutants.

Who?
SOLVAir® experts Manel Gastón and Kai Sartorius will share some 30 years of experience and expertise of SOLVAir® solutions in both new and existing facilities that burn all types of secondary biomass sources including post-consumer wood, paper waste, agricultural residues, and biomass cofiring.

They will discuss:
  • Sustainable integration of energy sources for reduced carbon power generation
  • Different emissions regulations for clean and polluted biomass
  • How dry sorbent injection technology can mitigate >99% of SOx and HCl emissions in polluted biomass and waste energy valorization plants
  • Total cost of ownership evaluation
  • Case studies with customers who successfully applied SOLVAir® Solutions to ensure their biomass combustion facilities meet the most stringent emissions regulations
