For over a decade, Europe has witnessed a rapid growth in its wood pellet sector. The European Union is now the undisputed world leader in pellet production and consumption, and looks set to maintain this position in the coming years. As the development of the sector continues apace, wood pellets are increasingly able to offer an efficient, reliable and sustainable alternative source of energy to the European consumer.
AGENDA
Against this backdrop, the European Pellet Council (EPC) and the International Biomass Torrefaction Council (IBTC), two networks of the European Biomass Association (AEBIOM), will host the International Pellet Conference on Wednesday 14th June 2017 in Cologne, Germany. This year’s edition will be dedicated to innovation in wood pellet safety and quality management. The conference will be held within VICTAM’s FVG Select 2017 event, which is expected to feature exhibitors from all around the globe.
