Svebio is proud to present UPM as Silver sponsor to the International Advanced Biofuels Conference in Gothenburg. UPM have taken significant steps towards a new direction for road traffic with UPM Biofuels.
These steps have included developing an innovative renewable diesel and commencing commercial production. In the spring of 2015, UPM:s renewable diesel fuel, UPM BioVerno, became available to consumers.
UPM Biorefining consists of UPM Pulp, UPM Timber and UPM Biofuels businesses and wood sourcing and forestry operations of UPM. The Business Area turnover is approximately two billion EUR. UPM has three pulp mills in Finland and one mill and plantation operations in Uruguay. UPM operates four sawmills in Finland.
