Today is Sweden's Bioenergy Day!

Last week Bioenergy Europe launched our 2019 European Bioenergy Day campaign. Projections show that this year Europe can rely on bioenergy only for all its energy needs for 45 days. An increase of 2 days compared to 2018 confirming a steady upward trend observed in the last years.

On 15 August, Finland was the first country to celebrate its BioenergyDay meaning that the country’s energy consumption can be covered by bioenergy alone for 139 days.

Today, focus on Sweden, with a striking 132 days!
