Fossil free Sweden using much bioenergy!
”Fossil free Sweden” is an initiative from the Swedish government, where the different Swedish business sectors show how a transition to fossil free solutions can take place. Svante Axelsson is in charge of this initiative, and is one of the key note speakers at the Advanced Biofuels Conference in Stockholm.
This is a summary in his own words:
”In the thirteen roadmaps for fossil free competitiveness that the Swedish industry has produced it becomes obvious that biofuels are essential for the transition to a fossil free society. Almost all of the industry sectors are counting on both electrification and biofuels to replace fossil fuels. That means we have to develop large scale production that utilizes the residuals from forestry and agriculture in a sustainable way.”
