Site visit
The day before the main event, on 28th October 2025, a limited number of conference participants will have a unique opportunity to visit Södra Cell Värö which is managed by Södra.
During the visit you’ll hear from Södra representatives, who’ll provide detailed insights into their work. Värö is situated on the Värö peninsula in Varberg municipality, some 60 kilometres south of Gothenburg. Its proximity to our members’ forests in western Sweden minimises transport distances for raw materials, while shipping the finished pulp from the West Coast optimises transportation to international customers.
