Delegates from 60 countries made history

World Bioenergy 27-29 May 2008 confirmed the conference and trade fair’s position as the world’s leading meeting place for the energy production of the future. “Decision-makers and manufacturers from around the world gathered here,” said Sweden’s Minister for Enterprise and Energy Maud Olofsson. “Together we are making history. That’s how important World Bioenergy is.”

5 700 persons visited the World Bioenergy 2008. 1 180 persons participated in the conference and field excursions where 100 site visits were carried out. 200 exhibitors were present in 170 booths and 104 companies took part in the Match Making in 660 different meetings.
